Seaton - Head Farmer and Carpenter
Seaton has been farming since first digging into the rock-hard sod back of the old house in Saskatoon, at age 14 - and planting a single tomato plant! The retired farm women living on either side - with their huge zucchini plants and endless rows of peas - laughed their heads off. And then shared everything they knew. Other skills include: carpentry, garden consultations, and handling worms without getting grossed out!
In addition to extensive carpentry and food gardening experience, Seaton's recent upgrades include courses in permaculture design, beekeeping, and green roof technology and design.

Jana - Chief Facilitator and Enthusiast
Jana loves talking to people, and telling them about our work at FarmCity - so she does a lot of the publicity for us. And she's been known to pitch in with a shovel and wheelbarrow from time to time - but she's not super fond of worms, so that's why she wears garden gloves. She also teaches screenwriting and movie-making for kids in her spare time.

Russ - Carpenter & General Reliable Person
After falling out of a treehouse that his brother built when he was seven, Russ knew he was destined for a long affair with outdoor structures. Since he and Seaton made a safe yet kid-approved treehouse just last summer, Russ has turned his carpentry skills to building unique garden containers that are effective in large backyards or small balcony spaces. He continues to hide his carpentry tools from his brother.
